Do I Have To Sign A Wavier To Rent/Operate A Kayak?

You will need to sign a waiver and rental damage agreement before embarking. Rental times are 8:00 am – 12:00 pm/12:00 pm – 4:00 pm or 8:00 am – 4:00 pm for a full day; we do charge $5 per minute for every minute late.

Is There A Chance To See Manatees ?

We also try to give you the best information to let you know where the Manatees have been sighted lately. In fact, you may see more manatees from your kayak than from the boats we use. Kayaks allow you to explore inlets and springs smaller than our boats usually can go. You’ll also have a chance to explore the many “nooks and crannies” of the springs’ inlets and creeks.

What Can I Expect To See While Paddling Around?

Don’t be surprised if you come across river otters frolicking near shore, or if a flock of birds floats right by you. You’ll also get a chance to see some beautiful water tarpon or other fish (no fishing is allowed, however).

Is It Likely To Fall In The Water?

Not to worry, the chances of you taking a tumble into the river are really quite slim, but it’s always best to be prepared. Layered clothes also are a great idea, as the air will warm up over the morning.
